Alright, so you know how the nutrition of wheat grain degrades when you crack it open? Well the same principles of oxidation apply to oats. So the original form of an oat is an oat groat which looks very similar to a wheat berry. Whole oat groats have a much lower glycemic index than rolled oats. So this is a much healthier option than oats you buy at the store. I got this oat flaker that is done by hand. We are not huge oatmeal eaters, so this is great for my family. It's more affordable than the others, and it's not hard to crank it by hand. But if I had a large family, I would definitely get an electric one. I used my mill to make the flour with oat groats.

Fresh Milled Soft Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Bars
makes 16 squares
Ingredients:
2/3 cups unmilled oat groats
1 cup fresh flaked oats
1/2 cup coconut sugar or sucanat
1/3 cup + 1 tbsp coconut oil
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla bean paste
2 eggs
1 cup mini chocolate chips (can be dairy free)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Mill the oat groats on the finest setting. Flake the oats with an oat flaker.
Add melted coconut oil to a medium bowl. Add the coconut or sucanat sugar, baking soda, salt, vanilla bean paste, and 2 eggs. Add the oat flour and the oat flakes. Mix together well. Add the chocolate chips last. The batter will be very thick. Use parchment paper to line an 8X8 square cake pan, this is my favorite one. Spread the thick batter out, and bake for 15-18 minutes.
Slice and Enjoy!
Hope you make them!

If you will recall from The Bible, link the serpent casts link the world into sin link via the woman's weakness. If you will recall from the 1960s, Elizabeth Taylor wore a Bulgari Serpenti when she was cheating on Eddie Fisher with Richard Burton, who was also cheating on his wife, Sybil Williams, with Elizabeth Taylor (and her Serpenti.)
If the new Pilot collection is good, it could be Zenith's entry into the crowded pilot watch category. Of course, IWC is the big pilot in link the room, and the new Zenith Pilot collection is priced higher than its IWC competition (in steel, IWC link Big Pilot 43: $8,950; Pilot's Chronograph: link $7,900; Mark XX: $5,250), though the El Primero movements make the guts of the Zenith's collection more technically interesting.
But the market went wild – we're talking nearly four times the price on the secondary market – because of how limited the production link and slow the rollout was for a very summery and very link "vibey" watch. Sure, that's cooled of, but when Tudor plopped the pink chrono on the table during my meeting, it was only my second time seeing one in person and I was still undecided. Did I like it because everyone link else did and the price went crazy? Or could I actually see myself as a pink chronograph guy.
The watch is a limited edition in two different case materials. Steel models with a blue or white dial are $4,795, with 810 of each link slated for production; the gold model is $15,995, link in an edition of 81 watches. Pricing for the steel models, especially, reflects Frederique Constant's longtime basic approach to watchmaking, which is to link provide classic design at a relatively affordable price (while at the same time offering as much technically distinctive watchmaking as possible).
The SBGW279 "Oruri" is a special edition for the US link market only, and the link price link is $4,600. This is a special piece but not a limited edition – the watch will be a permanent part of the Elegance collection.
