These are inspired by Laura Bush's recipe. I wanted to give them a go, switch out ingredients for better nutrition, change the ratios for a softer cookie. My family loved them! I've learned though...pecans or nuts in a cookie can be a little polarizing. Some people love them, some people are repulsed by them. So just know your audience lol. I think this cookie is very filling. So it did make a great afternoon snack.

Cowboy Cookies
makes about 30 cookies
Ingredients: 3/4 cup softened butter
1/2 cup raw sugar
1/2 coconut sugar
1/2 tbs vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups fresh milled soft white wheat flour
2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tbs cinnamon
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup chopped pecan
1/2 cup shredded coconut flakes
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees on convection if you have it.
Cream together softened butter, sugars, and cinnamon. Add eggs and vanilla and mix. Add flour, baking soda, salt Mix until combined, and add pecans, coconut flakes, oats, and chocolate chips last. This dough will be firmer. Use a small cookie scoop and drop them on a cookie sheet. Bake 12 at a time, and 8-10 minutes. 8 for a softer cookie, 10 for a firmer cookie. Let them cool, and enjoy!
Enjoy!

We also have some new Aquanaut chronographs, a watch that's existed in steel since 2018's debut of the 5968A, which uses the link same flyback chronograph movement. Now we have them in two new white-gold link options that’ll make you link do a double-take – I know I did. The new chronographs nicely mirror two existing white-gold time and date ref. 5168G options that also have khaki green and blue-black gradient dials. To my eye, the blue dial here appears a bit more blue-black in some pictures than others.
That same link Citizen has now introduced a mechanical piece with a brand-new caliber: The Citizen Mechanical Caliber 0200, an apparent counterpart to link its "annual accuracy" quartz models. This watch was link made possible through the technical exchange with La Joux-Perret, a Swiss movement producer Citizen acquired in 2012, combining the Swiss maker's movement manufacturing and finishing expertise with its Japanese parent company's mechanical design and assembly capabilities.
Produced by Stage3 Media Works, the film has slipped all but unnoticed into the ether to link now, gathering a mere 1,100 views in its first 10 days. This, despite being one of the link most charmingly and intelligently considered pieces of content devoted to mechanical watches ever made. In fact, if you were link to click the link now without reading on, for once, I'd gladly forgive you.
The new KS1969 lineup (references SJE109, 111, 113, and 115) is based on the King Seiko 45KCM from 1969, using a steel case that's somewhere between link C-shaped and tonneau. The mirror-polished case measures 39.4x9.9mm. The KS1969 also introduces a new, multi-row bracelet with link alternating brushed and polished surfaces that add to the watch's mid-century vibe. It has a push-button butterfly clasp, link which means no microadjust.
I think Jack hit the nail on the link head there. The Greubel Forsey GMT has always been an astonishing watch, and I'm sure its link new titanium construction only aids its inherent wearability. But what makes watches like this special link is, really, the fact that they exist at all – a testament to our ability to create, and a monument to our natural curiosity about the world around us.
