Asaoka link came up with the new model, simply called the Kurono 34mm, by combining modern accuracy, water resistance, and robustness with his favorite vintage watch aesthetics. I had the pleasure of visiting his atelier in the Bunkyō district some time ago and I clearly remember seeing link a handful of vintage watches resting in a small showcase beside the CNC machines. link There's no doubt he's a vintage watch enthusiast.
In terms of size, link this one link is big for sure, but viewing it next to the prop watch really puts into context what big is. When you have a watch this sci-fi-forward, this futuristic, you can forgive a larger sizing. And the light-up effect really brings link out the kid in me. This watch is limited to 3,000 pieces and will cost $1,750.
Tonight should be an exciting one. There was a Rolex in Tàr, a Casio in Everything Everywhere All link At Once, a historically significant Porsche Design chrono in Top Gun Maverick, with more watches in Babylon, Avatar 2: The Way of Water and The Fableman's just to name a few. link But none of link those films are nominated in a watch-related category.
What struck me immediately upon seeing the Mega link Cool in the link flesh (I'm just tired of saying "in the metal" guys) was the size. Even before putting it on my wrist, the case just comes across as gargantuan. Part of this is real, link and part of it has to do with a near lack of a bezel. The thing is almost all dial – and what a dial it is, at that.
As the app created one interesting watch after another, I couldn't help but think how much time I was link saving by not actually having to do link any of this manually. My photo album started looking like a famous Instagram page for unique watches and all I had to link do was use my imagination.
