Honey Lavender Syrup

Updated: Aug 23, 2019

This syrup is incredible in tea (my favorite is the original Rasa), and in coffee. Its easy, it’s without refined sugar, and if you keep the heat low on that honey...you will get the nutritive advantage of the honey too! This is a small batch just because I am the only one that regularly drinks tea or coffee. You can double or triple, no bigs.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup raw unfiltered honey

2 TBS lavender flowers

Directions:

Bring water and lavender flowers to a boil for a few minutes. Get all that lavender flavor into the liquid. Reduce heat to simmer and stir in the honey. Let it simmer a few minutes and strain the flowers out. Pour into something pretty with a lid and enjoy!

Notes:

You can buy lavender flowers locally at Tumbleweed Botanicals. I got half an ounce for less than two bucks!
