Hazelnut Cacao Muffins

If you like Nutella, you will love these! They are a clean, dairy free, and refined sugar free. They are so special, not overly sweet, and the chocolate sprinkles are beyond!



 

Hazelnut Cacao Muffins

Ingredients:

3/4 cup homemade Hazelnut Cacao Spread

1/2 cup date sugar

2 eggs

1 1/4 cups can unsweetened coconut milk

2 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp salt

2 tsp baking powder

1 3/4 cups fresh milled soft white wheat

Natural Chocolate Sprinkles


Homemade Hazelnut Cacao Spread

1 cup hazelnuts

1/3 cup pure maple syrup

1/3 cup canned coconut milk

1/4 cup cacao powder

Blend together in a food processor or vitamin until mostly smooth.


Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Add all the dry ingredients to a large bowl. Mix together, add all the wet ingredients, but the hazelnut cacao spread last. Stir. Launch into your muffin tin. Fill about 1/2-3/4 full. Top with sprinkles. Bake 12-15 minutes. Makes a perfect dozen.
