Cinnamon Chocolate Brownies

These are so delicious. They are paleo, gluten free, and refined sugar free. I like to use raw cacao in recipes instead of cocoa because of the nutritional profile. Raw cacao powder contains more than 300 different chemical compounds and nearly four times the antioxidant power of your average dark chocolate - more than 20 times than that of blueberries. Protein, calcium, carotene, thiamin, riboflavin, magnesium, sulfur, flavonoids, antioxidants, and essential fatty acids are also present.

Ingredients:

3 eggs

1 cup coconut sugar

1 cup almond meal

1/4 cup coconut oil (melted)

1/4 cup cacao

1 tbs cinnamon

1 tsp vanilla

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven at 350 degrees. Cream together coconut oil and coconut sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla and incorporate. Then add all the dry ingredients. I'm super low maintenance when it comes to these things, just measure them out and toss them in while the beater is on low. Add chocolate chips last.

You need to use a small square pan or pie plate and grease it with coconut oil. Bake for 20-25 minutes.

ENJOY!
